Today’s topic: Buttermilk Pie. Love it. I think the first time I ate it was at the Nut House in Granbury, Texas. I was probably younger than Miss Bee is now. It’s very southern. I was nine when Earnie purchased this...
Praline Grahams
Mar 5, 2012 | (Sweet Tooth)
Made a batch of these Praline Grahams for Sister Bee’s spring open house with her Thirty One Business and other vendors. I have had this Southern Living recipe for years and it’s very easy. It’s the perfect sweet with coffee or for a wine...
She taught me how to prepare fabulous food, entertain guests with style and design a traditional home with a pop of color and a splash of animal print. Share my fondness of blending Mother’s mid-century style with a modern spin.

Our tables hold more than plates — they hold laughter, tears, confessions, and countless slices of cake. This is a love letter to the place where we gather, grow, and feel at home. 💛
My childhood home was at 4617 Meadowbrook Drive. I learned to set the table there. I made my first recipe standing on a stepstool beside my mother. I witnessed joyous occasions like showers and birthdays and learned what loss feel like with meals brought by friends after a funeral.
What story does your table tell? I`d love for you to share your memory with me below or tag someone you`d love to invite to your next meal. #DearTable

Nothing says, "I adore you," quite like a warm biscuit wrapped up with love!
✨ Taking homemade goodies to a friend is a form of hospitality… and possibly the sweetest love language of all. 💌
This week I baked up a batch of fluffy, golden buttermilk biscuits (cue the butter melting magic ✨), then wrapped them up to surprise a friend — because who wouldn’t swoon over a warm, homemade treat arriving at their door? And, I added a jar of Mr. Twist`s blueberry jam and a batch of chocolate chip cookies (did you see yesterday`s post?).
Want to make your gifts extra special? My “You’re My Kinda Jam” gift tags (with the cutest little jam jar art) add that perfect finishing touch.

What makes a recipe a heirloom? It’s not always passed down from generations ago—it’s the ones we use again and again until the pages are sticky with love. This chocolate chip cookie recipe may not be written in my grandmother’s handwriting, but it holds just as much meaning.
Someday, it’ll be my daughter’s.
✨ Do you have a recipe that’s becoming an heirloom in your kitchen? I’d love to hear about it. 🍪 Tell me below.
P.S. if you want this @southernlivingmag chocolate chip cookie recipe I`ve made for 25 years, comment CHIP, and I`ll send it to you.

Comment POPOVER, and I`ll send you this super easy, vintage recipe!
I have such fun memories going to Neiman Marcus with my mother when I was little. She always took me for my birthday and we`d eat in the Zodiac Tea Room. They`d serve hot popovers with demitasse cups of hot chicken broth. Then I`d order the children`s lunch of chicken and rice served inside a white porcelain covered chicken casserole dish. The dessert was an ice cream cone clown with a meringue collar. Such a treat.
Be sure to give the popovers a try. They are so delicious!
