I wish I were a reader. The extent of my reading is Pinterest, magazines and an occasional mystery. This summer I vow to read at least three books. I am following a new blog — Modern Mrs. Darcy and she has a fabulous summer reading list you can subscribe to. I am old fashioned, I still like to read actual books, so I have requested several titles at my local library. They must be good books because, in most cases, I am in third in the queue. Here’s my list:
- The Likeness by Tana French
- The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton
- I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith
- Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter
- Attachments by Rainbow Powell
- What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
- The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
Let me know if you have read any of these books. I’d love to hear your opinion on new ones, too. It’s the first day of summer for me because Miss Bee’s last day of middle school is today. Hope you have a fantastic Friday!
