During the pandemic, our book club pivoted immediately to virtual meetings, so our club never missed a meeting. Happily supporting our efforts to continue our community, author Lian Dolan joined us to discuss her 2020 book The Sweeney Sisters. What a delight she is....
Hospitality is in my DNA. I founded Home with a Twist, a daughter’s twist on her mother’s traditions, in memory of my mother to celebrate her life and the gifts she shared with me. Mother loved to celebrate life’s occasions – big and small.She taught me how to prepare fabulous food, entertain guests with style and design a traditional home with a pop of color and a splash of animal print. Finding what brings you joy is the message here! I had no idea when I bought this vintage plate rack at an estate sale that it would be such a delight.
I hangs in my keeping room, and I style it with seasonal decor. Like my set of @forpetessakepottery Valentine Houses that I just adore. I tucked in vintage Valentine cards, tea cups and felt birds and hearts. It brightens my day every time I pass by.

I`m still thinking about last Saturday when Catherine White Art and I lead the NEW YEAR TRUE YOU Vision Board Workshop.
🌸We shared the negative messages we tell ourselves that hold us back from authenticity.
🌸We set goals and identified positive habits we want to incorporate in our daily routine.
🌸We named our "Word" of the year as our mantra.
🌸We heard important messages about rest and seeking moments of stillness.
🌸We took time for creative learning and thinking to design a unique vision board specific to our ideas and beliefs.
🌸We came together to find an accountability partner who will nurture and support our plans.
