Who doesn’t love to gossip with friends on their front porch on a lazy summer day?  Add a tray of pimento cheese sandwiches and a pitcher of iced tea….and I’m all in!

So the way I see it…one of the good things that have come from the pandemic is visiting with neighbors from our front porches.  Which makes me wonder….what’s your porch style?  We think a ruffled gingham midi or maxi skirt is ideal for hanging out on the porch!  And could there be anything cuter than coordinating mommy/daughter dresses?  We don’t think so.…and perfect for sipping lemonade!  Be sure to “check out” our Pinterest board!

Don’t you think a porch is the idyllic setting for entertaining…especially a screened-in porch?  The Trellis House B&B in Ogunquit, Maine serves breakfast and happy hour on their inviting screened-in porch….and you can count on Bentley, the house dog, to join you!  For a beach town vibe, a striped sundress pairs perfectly with B&B porch style.  We’re loving how a Charleston blogger shares her joyful porch style posing in a rainbow-striped dress and then in a skirt.  Porch party for one….your table is ready!

Have you ever been invited to a porch party?  I bet you would be a great hostess…and so stylish!  Don’t you think a festive CeliaB midi dress embellished with rick rack would be absolutely adorable?  For the best bag match….add a handmade Columbian bucket bag inspired by the colors of the rainbow.  And can’t you just imagine your man sporting a blue seersucker blazer with a bow tie and pocket square to complement your dress?

Since we’ve all saved a fortune on canceled summer vacations, I’m thinking we should splurge on a wicker picnic basket.  Lucky for us, Mark & Graham has a great selection….the ultimate in preppy picnic style!  Speaking of preppy, Kiel James Patrick have put polo shirts back on the style map!   As you might expect, they look fetching with shorts but also consider wearing one with a midi skirt.  Looks like someone’s “too preppy for their shirt…so preppy”!

From porch parties to porch style….I hope you’re enjoying these lazy summer days and getting reacquainted with your neighbors!
