From a Bloody Mary to a glass of Prosecco…don’t you think it’s time to add a little “merry” to your holiday style? That being said…what’s on your bar cart?
Since we love entertaining on our patio, we repurposed a family heirloom into an outdoor “party cart.” Which makes me wonder….have you been invited to an outdoor holiday party? Even with heaters and fire-pits, its cold out….so think about warming things up in something metallic. A metallic jacket or coat matched with Spanx faux leather leggings is definitely chill-proof! And sequined metallic joggers paired with a sweater will positively warm up your party style.
What’s your favorite cocktail? Mine is a “ranch water”…lime juice, tequila, and Topo Chico on ice….kind of like a skinny margarita. Just like a delicious ranch water, a ranch hat is ideal for an outdoor winter gathering. With hats from Madewell and Gigi Pip, you’ll bring style to an outdoor winter party. Holley suggests pairing a ranch hat with a prairie dress or midi skirt and boots. Hats off to your fabulous holiday style!
I can’t think of anything tastier than a Bloody Mary on Christmas or New Year’s morning! Do you remember the character, Patsy, in the movie, An Evening Star? We quote her often, “I’ll have a Bloody Mary…with lots of merry”! A beautiful red or green cashmere sweater from J Crew pairs perfectly with a holiday brunch. And if you plan to wear your pajama pants all day….a fun Christmas sweatshirt from Zazzle will complete your comfy holiday style.
I’m thinking anything jewel-toned is ideal for a “non-alcoholic” Sunday school class Zoom party! Talbot’s collection of jewel-toned sweaters will add a bright touch to your Zoom style. And what says “holiday style” more than a pair of velvet mules? I have to admit, I’m smitten with Birdie mules…so fun and festive! For less expensive copies my go-to is Amazon Fashion or Laorosastyle. And if you’re attending a party hosted outdoors, wear a bright scarf and beanie from Abercrombie for the perfect party pop!
Cheers to your festive holiday style and to your “merry and bright” holiday spirit!
