Mother loved to celebrate life’s occasions – big and small.She taught me how to prepare fabulous food, entertain guests with style and design a traditional home with a pop of color and a splash of animal print. Setting the table - part one. I chose a nautical theme for my al fresco poolside party. Seashells, seagrass placemats, bamboo flatware, red, blue, and white. A lovely tablescape is a gift for my guests. Something to catch their eye and make them feel welcomed.
Nothing has to match. It doesn`t need to be new. My table is a small token of appreciation that my guests chose ME to spend the evening with.
Host with intention, not perfection.

😎😎 I`m in my June era! I`ll be honest - the summer is not my favorite season. Here in Texas, it gets super hot. The mosquitoes are big enough to carry you off. But - there are some fun things to make up for it!!
Like picking 🌻sunflowers, making yummy BLTs with garden 🍅 tomatoes, displaying your shell 🐚 collection, and hosting a nautical outdoor dinner party. 🦞
