I`m still thinking about last Saturday when Catherine White Art and I lead the NEW YEAR TRUE YOU Vision Board Workshop.
🌸We shared the negative messages we tell ourselves that hold us back from authenticity.
🌸We set goals and identified positive habits we want to incorporate in our daily routine.
🌸We named our "Word" of the year as our mantra.
🌸We heard important messages about rest and seeking moments of stillness.
🌸We took time for creative learning and thinking to design a unique vision board specific to our ideas and beliefs.
🌸We came together to find an accountability partner who will nurture and support our plans.

❤️SAVE FOR LATER❤️ My Bestie Julie is a phenomenal baker, but her mother Evelyn`s recipe for Snickerdoodles is hands-down the best.
Coated in cinnamon sugar, the cookies are light, crispy, and not too sweet. Your home will snell like the Keebler Elves Tree!
I made mine smaller so I could package them for gifting. It makes about four dozen cookies. Bake and freeze for later.

Evelyn`s Snickerdoodles
1 cup soft shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
Mix until light and creamy
Combine 2 3/4 cups flour, sifted, with 2 tsp cream of tarter, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well. Stir into batter. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Roll into walnut size balls, then roll in a mixture of 2 TBL sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet (I used parchment paper) and bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. You just want them jusr slightly golden around the edges. The puff up during baking but flatten out after cooling.
