I’m a cold-weather gal. Give me sweaters, boots, S’mores by the fire, snowy days inside reading cookbooks. But there’s something about early spring that gets me every season. I love seeing all the sleepy flowers budding, getting into the garden and prepping the soil, and poring through seed catalogs, dreaming of growing new flowers.

I also love spring cleaning! For me, it is so productive and refreshing to clean our front porches and indoor spaces as a ritual to usher out winter and welcome spring. It can be overwhelming to think of all the chores we need to do, so I am coming to the rescue with my “Spring with Intention” guide. My colorful two-page guide has three weeks of lists to check off and two recipes – one for lavender lemonade and my recipe for sugar cookies.

This guide was created to help you refresh your home without overwhelm. Instead of deep cleaning every corner at once, you’ll focus on simple, bite-sized tasks spread over three weeks. Each week highlights a different area of your home so you can move intentionally and make steady progress.

Set aside a small pocket of time each day — even 20 to 30 minutes is enough. Work through the checklist at your own pace, checking off tasks as you complete them. There’s no pressure to finish everything perfectly. The goal is to create lightness, order, and a sense of readiness for the new season. And while you are completing your tasks, you can take a listen to my Porch Party Playlist!

At the end of each week, reward yourself with a small ritual — a glass of lavender lemonade, fresh sugar cookies, or a quiet moment on the porch. Spring cleaning should feel like preparation for hospitality, not punishment.

This is about opening the windows, welcoming the light back in, and preparing your home — and your heart — for the season ahead.
