So, let’s start with pants….my picks are white jeans, light blue jeans, and crops. J Crew’s button-front straight leg white jeans and J McLaughlin’s selection are my new favs. From pairing them with a vibrant eyelet button-down to topping them off with a blazer…these essentials should be in everyone’s wardrobe. My favorite jeans are a light blue denim from H&M…a great price and so versatile. Anthropologie gives us so many colorful cropped options…perfect with sneakers and sophisticated when dressed-up with a pair of heeled sandals.

A button-down shirt is essential for every spring wardrobe. My three-pick is a white button-down, a blue striped shirt, and a floral shirt. A floral shirt will add a fresh look to your spring style, and I’m loving Tuckernuck’s and J McLaughlin’s beautiful selections. A blue striped button-down from J Crew is a spring wardrobe staple, and same goes for one of their eyelet button-downs. Pair them with a skirt or with crop pants and sandals.

My spring blazer capsule consists of a navy pinstripe, a black and white checked, and a light blue blazer. To add a little twist to your spring capsule, Ann Taylor’s orange plaid blazer paired with a skirt or jeans is the perfect pop. A blue or navy blazer gives a classic preppy vibe, and we’re loving Zara’s selection of blue blazers. To include a few bonus items in your capsule….add a denim jacket or a vibrant kimono.

A spring capsule wardrobe would not be complete without skirts and dresses…in threes, of course. The best way to describe this season’s dresses and skirts is sassy and festive. Point proven with an Ann Taylor vibrant yellow or pink midi tie waist dress or a bright orange eyelet dress. If you’re looking for party skirts for an upcoming soiree, Ann Taylor’s green flounce midi skirt and pink striped maxi skirt give a fun party vibe!
