If you love having scents in your home, like candles, diffusers or even my stovetop potpourri, you have probably heard of the Pura Smart Diffuser device. I was skeptical of embracing this high-tech gadget, but after using it for a few months, I’m excited to share my thoughts on the device. I have two Pura devices: one is in my kitchen, and one is my bedroom. I will say, they don’t smell up the entire house – but theydefinitely smell up the room/space. You can put two scents in one Pura device and schedule the device to alternate dispensing it.
By the way, did I mention you use an app to control the Pura? Yes! You use an app to schedule the time, intensity and scent you want to be diffused out. Check out the screenshot I included below to see what my app looks like. At first, this was a turnoff because I didn’t want to have to use ‘one more gadget.’ But I’ve come to love it. I love being able to turn off/on the diffuser from afar – whether I’m in another room or I’m driving home from a day at work. I also really appreciate how many available scents/brands are compatible with the Pura. Capri Blue Volcano is a no-brainer, but there are other great brands like Nest, Thymes, Brooklyn Candle and more. Overall, I’ve been enjoying my Pura so much and plan to continue using it!
