I’ve pulled together my fall-style faves to help you get your wardrobe ready for pumpkin picking, wine tasting, and football games. Did you happen to read my Closet Class post from last week or watch my class on Instagram? Be sure to check out the important tips I share on getting your closet cleared out so you can add new pieces to enjoy for the fall season.
I recently read about fashion trends inspired by beverages like coffee and wine, particularly makeup. Have you heard of this? I found the idea incredibly inspiring. So, I looked around a little and found some gorgeous shades of lip, eye, blush, and nail polish just in time for the first day of fall! Adding a new nail or lip color is the most cost-effective way to update your fall wardrobe. I can’t wait to give the Sally Hanson Wine Stock nail polish a try on my toes!
One of the hottest trends for fall is GOLD, especially in shoes and handbags. I recently purchased these ballet flats and I love them (only sale for $39). Not only are they stylish, but they are super comfortable which is important to me as I get older. The Destination 365 dress is a gorgeous shade of merlot with a bird print and pairs perfectly with gold shoes and accessories. I love the adorable triangle purse from Target (on sale)!
If you add anything new for the fall – make it a fresh white t-shirt, tunic, or monogrammed Oxford shirt. I stock up on Everlane white tees every season (currently on sale for $20). I love the fit and that they are short-waisted so you don’t have a lot of t-shirt bulk. My absolute favorite go-to top is the Katie Kime monogrammed shirt. She has them in several colors – including her newest shade PINK! You pay for the quality of her shirts and the fit is amazing. My suggestion is to size down (how great is that for your ego!). Pair any of these tops with a gorgeous tweed jacket like this one from Talbots and you’ll have an outfit you can wear to work, dinner, or running errands. Use my promo code here for 25% off and FREE shipping every time you shop! Add any of the gold accessories and you instantly have your entire fall wardrobe set.
I hope these ideas inspired you to get excited for fall. I promise it’s coming – now we just need the Texas weather to cooperate!
