I’m bringing back My Easy Three from several years ago – a post I share each month for three simple things you can accomplish monthly. Think of it as your mini to-do list.

Closet Purge – Sweaters

If tackling the closet seems too daunting, then focus on one article of clothing. Now that the weather has decided to act like winter in North Texas, it’s the perfect time to go through my sweater collection. I have affirmed that I don’t need any more sweaters!  It never gets cold enough here to justify the number of sweaters in my closet. I love the coziness of a comfortable sweater, but I am tired of all the shelf space they take up. So, this month, I will get all my sweaters out and try on each one, and if it doesn’t spark joy, it will go in the donate pile or head to resell. I’ve had good luck selling on Poshmark and at Clothes Mentor.

Buy a new daily planner for 2025

I am committed this year to starting AND FINISHING a daily planner. I always start one, but it gets pushed away by February, and I don’t utilize it as I should. I bought this one from Emily Ley Simplified. Use code HAPPY25 for 25% off sitewide.  On a recent visit to Austin, I stopped into the Erin Condren retail store and stocked up on stickers, to-do list stickers, and this Home and Sort Organizational Planner.  It’s a 12-month plan for decluttering your home!  Read more about it here.

Delete 100 Emails

I try to set aside time each month to delete emails and unsubscribe. If you are like me, your email is filled with post-Christmas cyber sale emails. Start the new year with a manageable email inbox. Start with setting a goal to delete at least 100 emails. From there, consider creating folders for content you want to keep and refer to later.

I hope my three easy tips help!
