One of my favorite things to do each Christmas is unpack all my Santa mugs. I try to add a few new mugs each year. I like to place them on a two-tiered stand in the kitchen with all my hot cocoa supplies. I tucked in a few sprigs of evergreen and filled one of the mugs with peppermint candy canes.
This year I will be mixing up a homemade hot cocoa mix courtesy of The Pioneer Woman.
Here is a printable recipe card to download for your recipe box.
Here’s a creative way to serve your cocoa – from a thermal carafe with a fun decal that says Baby it’s Cold Outside! I’ve partnered with one of my favorite organizers, Caitlin from This Joyful House. Caitlin created the decal just for my readers. Visit her store link here to purchase and use code THANKYOU10 to save 10% on your order. We found the thermal carafe here on Amazon. This carafe will look so adorable on the kitchen counter with packets of cocoa mix, whipped cream and all the toppings. Or how about filled with hot, spiced apple cider!
And, for when you want to fill a thermos full of cocoa to ride around and look at Christmas lights, I found these cute retro Christmas plaid thermoses on Amazon. I could just see one for each person’s place setting filled with wassail, hot buttered rum, or your cocoa recipe! How about gifting someone with a thermos, a jar of cocoa mix, and the recipe card. What a fun hostess gift.
Nothing says the holidays like hot cocoa!
