Every week until Christmas, I plan to share a spotlight on some of the gift guides I created for my 2021 Melissa The Merrier Gift Catalog. (Click the link to read the original post!) I hope to provide a deeper dive into my thought process on sourcing gifts, who I imagine the perfect recipient to be, and hopefully find some sales and deals along the way. I’m starting by showcasing the Merry Maker Female-Owned Small Business Gift Guide because some of these gift items require ample lead time to be crafted and created by these amazing female entrepreneurs and artisans.

First, Basically Brittany Designs! Brittany created her small business to encompass all her creative ideas, including ‘Christmas Stovetop Potpourri’ and custom embroidery. Brittany earned a degree in Entrepreneurial Management from TCU and has always been passionate about business, and she thrives in a space which shares creativity and business.

Brittany made me this beautiful set of monogrammed coasters for the holiday season. How beautiful is this set up?! Take a look at her website – any of Brittany’s items would make the perfect keepsake gift.

Glitter & Gold is a Fort Worth, Texas based online jewelry boutique that focuses on crafting and selling high-quality jewelry and accessories. Mallory Dougherty has combined her love for finding treasures, meeting new people, and showing her daughters how to live out your dreams by creating her own business. I’m especially a fan of the gold bangles – they are a soft and squishy texture like those popular Buddha Girl bracelets, but a bit more interesting with a braided touch. Whenever I wear them I always get asked ‘Where did you get those bracelets?’

If you shop from any of these wonderful women, be sure to tell them Melissa from Home With A Twist sent you! Happy gifting!
