I try to treat myself to flowers at least twice a month. Trader Joe’s is my favorite place to shop because the prices are very reasonable, and the quality is high. I spent $25 on three bunches of flowers and then made two floral arrangements.
There are three easy ways to welcome guests into your home. First, place an arrangement in your entry near the front door. The lovely floral scent will welcome your guests as they enter, and the pop of color will immediately get your guests’ attention, making your home an inviting place to be.
Secondly, when I host a gathering, I always try to have a small arrangement in the powder room. Have you ever visited a fancy restaurant (think Le Margot in Fort Worth) and seen fresh flowers near the sink? I immediately feel like I’m in a boutique hotel. Your guests will remember that lovely touch forever.
Lastly, if you have overnight guests, a vase of flowers, or even a single rose with a sprig of rosemary (rosemary represents remembrance), elevates the guest bedroom to a five-star experience.
I’ve got a special treat for you – I have an Easy Flower Arranging class on my YouTube Channel filled with tips and tricks for flower prep, care, and arranging. Click below to watch the video. While you are there, I’d love for you to like it and subscribe to my channel. I plan to add more videos to share my hosting experience.
Happy flower arranging!
Melissa, first let me say your hair is wonderful!!
I love to have fresh flowers in my home. We don’t have TJ nearby so I get them at my local grocery store. If it’s summer, they come from the flowerbeds. Having fresh flowers is a small pleasure in life. 🙂
Thank you Stacey about my hair! I am really enjoying it short. I turned 60 last year and decided it was time to chop off my long hair as I enter a new decade. I love that we share a mutual fondness for flowers! I’d love to see your garden photos sometime! Thank you for commenting and following my journey. I appreciate you.
