If you`re like me, I keep holding onto Christmas decor I never use anymore. So before you pack up and store this year`s decorations, follow these helpful steps:
* Sort everything you used this year into zones. For example - Mantel, Kitchen, Tree, etc
* Label bins with those zones. Set those bins aside.
* Now go through unused decor you haven`t decorated with, touching each piece. Does it bring you joy and fit with your aesthetic, or does it need to find another home?
* Bag or box up donated items and put them in your car for drop off.
* Now take the remaining items that you are keeping and categorize them into your newly labeled bins.
Taking the time to do this now will pay off next November when it`s time to decorate again. Organizing your decor into zones makes it so much easier and saves you time. If you only have 30 minutes one day, you can pull out the "Mantel" bin and just do that one space. It`s much less overwhelming this way.

You know those pins your mother gave you - WEAR THEM! I took one of my mother`s vintage starburst pins and created a cinched waist with my velvet jacket. It definitely elevates your look!
You can add pins to your handbag, a jean jacket, a scarf around your wrist, and like my friend Jen @stylewithnoregret, she decorated a tinsel tree with vintage brooches.
You will definitely make a statement at the party!
