Hospitality is in my DNA. I founded Home with a Twist, a daughter’s twist on her mother’s traditions, in memory of my mother to celebrate her life and the gifts she shared with me. Mother loved to celebrate life’s occasions – big and small.She taught me how to prepare fabulous food, entertain guests with style and design a traditional home with a pop of color and a splash of animal print. 🐈 I have four cats and a dog 🐕. I`ve never met an animal I wouldn`t want to adopt.
🍰I love cake, and I`m a snob about it. Has to be buttercream frosting, the perfect ratio of frosting to cake, and it must be vanilla. Although a good slice of chocolate will do, too.

I`m an autumn which means my best colors to wear are rich, warm, earthy and vibrant. It was eye opening to watch my face "pop" when Lauren draped me with my signature colors.

My precious Phoebe hosted her first bridal shower with me yesterday and it made my heart glow. I loved seeing her spirit of hospitality in action as we worked together in the kitchen and as guests arrived.
My mother did the same with me - teaching me recipes, etiquette, and how to make people feel special. Now it`s passed down to Phoebe.
Yesterday was also meaningful because the bride is the granddaughter of my high school teacher from 40 years ago. Mindy and I have stayed friends and now our girls are friends. How good is God!❤

My precious Phoebe hosted her first bridal shower with me yesterday and it made my heart glow. I loved seeing her spirit of hospitality in action as we worked together in the kitchen and as guests arrived.

This self-guided walking tour is considered the largest, finest, and most intact collection of early 20th century architecture in Mississippi. It`s definitely City Beautiful. P.S. I might just make this my second home.

RECIPE BELOW - Three Pepper Pork Tenderloin 👇
1 lb pork Tenderloin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground red pepper
1 tsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed (I live garlic so I put in 5 cloves)
Non stick spray
Cut pork crosswise into 12 slices. Place each pork slice between two sheets of plastic wrap and flatten to 1/4-inch thickness using the heel of your hand or a meat mallet.
Combine paprika and next nine ingredients; rub over both sides of pork slices. Grill for no more than 3-4 minutes per side.
