Mother loved to celebrate life’s occasions – big and small.She taught me how to prepare fabulous food, entertain guests with style and design a traditional home with a pop of color and a splash of animal print. You know when you find something hidden in the stuff and it`s like Christmas! I found my deck of vintage Hallmark 1970s playing cards. The faces are abstract art of a dog and a cat in turquoise, green, and aqua. I love them!

It`s a space filled with treasures like my mother`s secretary that still smells like it did when she wrote letters 50 years ago. Books that inspire me, puzzles to engage my mind and Barry Manilow to keep me company.
I can`t wait to share more with you from this dreamy, colorful corner of my world.
My new gallery wall is finished. I`ve gathered up all my meaningful pieces and hung them as if they were in a traveling exhibit to share my love of color, flowers, and sentimental pieces. They each tell a story hanging happily in my Ladies` Lounge.
