I love Trader Joe’s. Â They have the best prices on everything — especially produce and seafood. Â Their farm raised Atlantic salmon is excellent so I was excited to see this recipe tucked inside the package.
Baked Salmon with Maple Orange Garlic Glaze
1 1/2 lb. Trader Joe’s Salmon fillets
1/3 cup Trader Joe’s Orange Marmalade
1/3 cup Trader Joe’s Maple Syrup
2 crushed garlic cloves
Place salmon in a shallow baking dish. Â Combine maple syrup, orange marmalade and garlic together and whisk. Â Pour mixture over salmon. Cover and refrigerate for 30-45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Â Remove fish from marinade and place on a lightly greased baking sheet, skin side down. Â Bake for 14-18 minutes, basting occasionally with the marinade. Â Arrange fish on a platter and top with freshly cut scallions.
Retro sides: Â Earnie would have served this with canned potatoes and green beans. Â Modern Twist: Â I served with brown rice and oven-roasted asparagus.
Hospitality is in my DNA. I founded Home with a Twist, a daughter’s twist on her mother’s traditions, in memory of my mother to celebrate her life and the gifts she shared with me. Mother loved to celebrate life’s occasions – big and small.
