The new school year is just around the corner. Where has summer gone?! Back to school is always a fun and exciting time where you get to reconnect with old friends and old routines you haven’t seen since May. To make it even better, there is often lots of shopping involved in the back-to-school season! While it’s important to pick out functional school supplies that will work best for your student, there is no reason it can’t also be adorable! I’m sharing some of the best back-to-school supplies with y’all. I really love these picks and hope y’all do too! Here in the south, the monogram is everything. So why not get them started young, right? Here are some of my favorite sources for monogrammed school supplies… Pottery Barn makes some of the best quality products in this category. I love this Custom Backpack, Lunchbox, Water Bottle Bundle, or try this Fairfax Backpack (with a cute personalized patch) from Pottery Barn. If you’re looking for more accessories, check out these options. Stoney Clover has taken the world by storm, and if you check out how cute their products are, you’ll see why. I love the Large Pouch with Heart Patches for a simple and adorable look. If you’re looking for a similar look with a lower price tag, these Etsy shops are great! Choose this Nylon Makeup Bag and add on your own Custom Letter Patches to achieve the look for less. This Etsy Shop can make the whole bag with sewn-in patches as well. Finally, don’t forget some personalized name stickers so you can label all your goodies. I love these girly ones or these clear ones for a simpler look. Pick your poison!
While you’re at it, don’t forget to grab some of the more traditional school supplies. I pulled these ideas from a school supply list sourced from Fort Worth ISD. Be sure to check out your local resources and recommendations. Some of the key highlights… Expo Markers are always in high demand in the classroom. Order a few of these packs from Amazon and become the homeroom hero! Another hot tip: order some poster board and project materials now and build a stockpile for future assignments. This will help you avoid that 9 P.M. moment when your child says, “Mom, we need to go to Target for my project due tomorrow…”
Happy shopping and best wishes to those embarking on a new school year and a new adventure!
