Comment BAKED BEAN, and I`ll send you my recipe for THE BEST beans you`ll ever serve to your guests.
I`ve been making these beans for years, and Mr. Twist loves them. They feature three different beans, Molasses, brown sugar, bacon, onions, spices, and BBQ sauce.
They pair perfectly with burgers, bbq, and grilled meats. I can`t wait to share my recipe with you! Check your DM for the recipe.
I`ve had so much fun transforming this empty, white room into a bright, colorful jewel box. The inspiration came from @adamtrest art I purchased during a visit last spring to Laurel, Mississippi.
My mother loved birds, and I dedicated this guest room to her. Stay tuned this week as I share more details on how I pulled it all together using a mix of new and thrifted things that tell a story.
A special thank you to @theocdbachelorette
and her fabulous team, who helped me make it beautiful and ready for company!
🌸Comment SIMMER for two recipes - one for spring and one for fall - that I`ll send to your DM.🌸
Simmer pots are a fun and easy way to freshen your home using citrus and herbs from your garden - like rosemary, thyme, mint, and lavender. Just add to water and keep it on a low simmer. I especially like to do this on the day I am planning a dinner with friends.
Important: Never ever leave your simmer pot unattended or leave the cooktop on when you leave the house. Always check your water level and add more as you need to. Keep out of reach from pets and children as the water is extremely hot
Take a look at my party pantry! Everything I use to host gatherings is beautifully organized in one space. It`s helps me host with ease.
With the help of @theocdbachelorette Elizabeth Jones, professional organizer, she helped me plan a thoughtful space for my dishes, glassware, silverware, serving pieces, and linens. I just love it! Now, this junk closet has a functional purpose.
Maybe you don`t have a spare closet, that`s okay. Establish an "entertaining zone" in your home - like a few cabinets or shelves - and build your inventory of party needs.
Host with intention, not perfection!
