“If you dress like a cowboy…does that mean you are ranch dressing?” Of course, it does! So, in honor of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, I’m sharing some eye-catching western ensembles…ideal for ranch dressing!
Are you looking for a way to add a western flair to a dress? Then you’re going to love how I’ve styled a black and white checked maxi dress with an artisan concho belt topped with a blue jean jacket. I’m pairing it with heart and flower boots from Maverick and a Charlie I hat to finish off this adorable cowgirl look.
Headed to Dickies Arena? For a rodeo-chic look, I’m suggesting Wrangler jeans or a denim skirt paired with a yellow corduroy shirt….tucked or tied. You get to decide what works for you! To give your rodeo ensemble an extra style pop, I’m adding a multi-colored concho belt from Maverick. All this rodeo ensemble needs is a pair of tall brown boots and a western hat.
A camel wool-blend wrap coat works for both scenarios, from the boardroom to a suite at the rodeo. I’ve coordinated this classic coat with charcoal-washed jeans and a black cashmere crewneck sweater. I’m pairing it with a western belt, a small Gucci shoulder bag, and a gray western hat from Boot Barn to pull it all together.
Though, I’ve saved the best for last…ultra-luxe western boots from Maverick called the “Charmer”! With snakeskin accent, and classic cowgirl embroidery and studs, you’ve got an amazing statement boot. A rodeo charmer…indeed!
“Sometimes I think life is just a rodeo…the trick is to ride and make it to the bell.”
