Do you change your linens for the seasons? I like to play with color, texture, and layers to create a boutique hotel vibe in my bedroom.
Definitely, in the spring and summer, I need lighter weight linens to stay cool. In the fall and winter, I love to cover up with lots of soft, warm layers.
Between seasons, I wash everything and store the linens in zippered bags to store away from dust so they`re fresh and ready for my bed.
Which season is your favorite?

I`m excited for spring, but I`m in no rush. Retirement is teaching me to slow down and enjoy life - not at the brave neck speed I had to be in during my younger years of juggling work, parenting, caregiving, and all the things.
This month, my mood finds me...
☘️Planting seeds after the last frost - usually around March 20
🌿 Paint my nails green for St. Patrick`s Day
🍀Re-read @annaspiro design book Absolutely Beautiful Things to inspire me
🌿 Finish putting out bunnies and other soring decor
🍀 Plan my Easter lunch menu.
What are yiu in the mood for this month?

My mother loved to garden. When I was little, she always gave me a small flowerbed of my own to do what I wanted. We`d go to the nursery together to pick out flowers.
This weekend, the leaves were raked (well, most of them, it was so windy), bushes cut back to allow new growth, and I found my zinnias re-seeded from last year`s crop! That`s what spring does - it reveals hidden gems under the blanket of winter.
Now it`s starting to rain and my work is done for today.
Do you like to garden? What`s your favorite thing about spring?
