I think we can all agree that being treated to breakfast in bed or a visit to a spa is a luxury. But it’s also about self-care and taking time to unwind. Treating yourself to new pajamas is essential for a lavish breakfast in bed. Long pajama pants are my fav, and I...
Someone call the doctor…because it looks like there’s a yellow fever outbreak! With Farm Rio’s stunning array of yellow floral and tropical prints, I’m thinking this could be highly contagious. FYI…I might be going bananas….because I am pairing Farm Rio’s banana...
One of my favorite places to “hang out” is Zara….in the store or online. So, no surprise, I am loving their summer-blues selection. I must admit, I am smitten with Zara’s tie-dyed blue and white midi dress. I’m giving it a sophisticated vibe on our board with white...
White tops, jeans and dresses are a summer staple, but sometimes it can be hard to sift through and style all the best options. These picks will carry you through the rest of the summer, and many can be easily incorporated into stylish outfits year-round. These...
I love how my blog boss, Melissa, is twisting things up at Home with a Twist! And since fashion changes daily…I’m all about twisting things up! So, my future articles will include more fashion layouts and “hanging out” in our LTK (Like to Know it) virtual closet. ...
If we learned anything from the pandemic, it was how to look good from the waist up. With facetime and zooms, pretty tops took center stage! So, let’s keep this trend going and talk about some fun and colorful ways to top off your outfit! Without question, you will...
Hospitality is in my DNA. I founded Home with a Twist, a daughter’s twist on her mother’s traditions, in memory of my mother to celebrate her life and the gifts she shared with me. Mother loved to celebrate life’s occasions – big and small.
She taught me how to prepare fabulous food, entertain guests with style and design a traditional home with a pop of color and a splash of animal print. Share my fondness of blending Mother’s mid-century style with a modern spin.
You know those pins your mother gave you - WEAR THEM! I took one of my mother`s vintage starburst pins and created a cinched waist with my velvet jacket. It definitely elevates your look!
You can add pins to your handbag, a jean jacket, a scarf around your wrist, and like my friend Jen @stylewithnoregret, she decorated a tinsel tree with vintage brooches.
You will definitely make a statement at the party!

I like to pour the batter into small 8x8 pans for easy gifting. Add a dusting of powdered sugar, a ribbon, and a tag, and you`ll deliver the perfect Christmas morning treat.
Here is a last-minute gift idea you can make for friends that would be a perfect way to engage your children and teens when they are home for Christmas — homemade stovetop potpourri!
When I was little, Sister and I would make crafts together as my gift to family members. One year, we made spice ropes, and another year, we filled hairspray caps with plaster and stuck a fork inside to make a recipe holder. Our creative skills were on fire! I have fun memories working with her on these crafts, instilling in me the spirit of giving.
Buzz over to my blog for the recipe and printable cards. Or comment GIFT, and I`ll DM you the link.
