Earnie turned 84! She was having her girlfriend’s getaway with her 99 year old friend in Denver last week on her actual birth date so we had to delay the celebration until yesterday. We gathered at the sister-in-law’s hive and enjoyed a salad...
Hospitality is in my DNA. I founded Home with a Twist, a daughter’s twist on her mother’s traditions, in memory of my mother to celebrate her life and the gifts she shared with me. Mother loved to celebrate life’s occasions – big and small.She taught me how to prepare fabulous food, entertain guests with style and design a traditional home with a pop of color and a splash of animal print. My Ladies` Lounge is where I dream, read, listen to vinyl, create, and gather with girlfriends over bubbly cocktails. It`s also home to my cherished heirlooms, collected treasures, and my well-loved hosting closet.
The room is layered in colors that remind me of a vintage punch bowl—oranges, sunny yellows, and fresh lime greens. Every corner feels like a sweet nod to my childhood, wrapping me in memories of a home that was warm, welcoming, and wonderfully safe.
